Rain

Sunday 21 March 2021

What is it about the pita patter of rain falling to earth that sounds so wonderful. As the raindrops hit my roof, a canvas, the top of something, the plants and the earth I believe there can be no better drum player. No better sound. Every sound is different unique. Each raindrop gives life. Just like us. Rain gives life not just for things to grow but also what it invokes in us spiritually and emotionally. It can create and it can destroy. But I believe it creates more than destroys. It fills the parched earth with sweet nectar to give life to nurture and sustain. Just like everything in nature. We all need a little rain in our life so that we can wash away life hurting moments, life sadness. In doing so we can grow taller and stronger to meet what lies ahead, the future.

What is rain for you?πŸŒΏπŸ™πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§

Life giving water

My Big day

Today marks a pretty important day for me. You see today my mother gave birth to me. Mum is 90 this year and Dad 93. Guess you could say I am fortunate that I am blessed that they are both alive. I believe I am. Although they are km away in Singapore mum and still connect via whatapps on video. It means a lot for me. Add everyday I chat with Mum and sometimes dad. He does not use technology at all.

I am also blessed as I have an amazing wife that keeps me on the straight and narrow and a beautiful daughter who is in uni. I also have 2 jack Russell’s. So today when I turn 62, yes it’s just a number I am grateful that I have been blessed with such abundance in life. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. πŸ™πŸ’§πŸŒΏπŸ€—β€
